Seen by G-d
In the closing chapters of Avraham and Sarah’s story — a story of promises fulfilled, faith tested, and covenant hope carried into the next generation. But hidden within the narrative is another thread — the story of Hagar and Ishmael, and the G-d who both hears and sees. Their journey reminds us that divine election does not mean divine exclusion. The same G-d who chose Yitzchak for the covenant also cared for Ishmael in the wilderness. In this episode, we’ll explore how Parashat Chayei Sarah calls us to hold together faithfulness and compassion — to see others as the G-d of Avraham sees them — with eyes of mercy, truth, and hope.
